Bill Summers

Bill Summers is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner™ with an extensive public accounting background with Ernst & Young, LLP and three independent accounting firms. He has more than 27 years of experience in tax law and financial planning. In addition, he has collaborated with Net Worth Strategies, Inc., the leading provider of equity compensation planning software, to teach over 50 equity compensation planning training seminars nationwide for hundreds of financial advisors. As a specialist in equity compensation planning and tax efficiency strategies that maximize net worth, he is requested as a speaker, contributing author, media source, and consultant. He has also served as a consultant and advisor for companies wishing to provide education and assistance to employees regarding their equity compensation.

When not busy serving his clients, Bill can be found spending time with his wonderful wife and two children chasing their two furry family members around the woods and through the lakes and streams of beautiful Central Oregon. He can also be found searching for his skis buried in the snow or golf balls in the weeds. Or perhaps trying to survive in the backwoods with minimal backpacking gear taking too many pictures that he doesn’t have time to process. Bill has also spent time volunteering at his kids’ schools as well as being the Treasurer of the Board of Director of the Growing Tree Children’s Center non-profit.
